I am feeling so sad, we all lost another high ranking Rock Star today.
Glenn Frey of the Eagles, an awesome Country/Rock band, has passed away today, from complications of pneumonia.
He had one of the biggest smiles, and also the sweetest voice.

Wow, it's been a busy week, for its keeper at thee 'gates of pearls', upstairs.
Losing incredibly gifted David Bowie only days before.

Warm thoughts and prayers go out to both of their mourning families, close friends and associates.

Yeah, Celine Dionne, lost her husband and brother only days apart, both were fatal cancer victims. That must be tough to deal with...

Anyway, I was experiencing a tear filled afternoon, from today's news, as I have been an avid Eagles fan, from their very early beginnings, and had bought every one of their albums including the box set of cd's.

I remember a concert, that was with Motörhead, Krokus and Fist!!
They certainly did Turn it up!! Rocked the house...

If I had to pick my favorite arena band from back in the '70's, it would have to be Grand Funk Railroad. Kind of like ZZ Top, in that how only 3 members can put out so much sound is incredible.

Seen Jimmi Hendrix Experience with Noel Redding and Mitch Mitchell.
That was a power house, but what about Cream with Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce, and Ginger Baker on his magnificent drum kit..?
Lots of three man bands, that could rock the block... ;-)
We have an incredibly gifted trio up here, Rush...
