Well, I have the Fire HDX, I haven't bought a Phantom yet. I'm hoping it will work. I loaded the app and it starts and is asking for the initial setup. I read about the GPS and can't see why it won't work but that is the general consensus. Seems strange because the Fire will work on GPS when hooked WI-FI, SO why wouldn't it work via the Lighthouse? When you hook up a phone you're suppose to put it in airplane mode anyway which shuts off the WI-FI.
