Amazing Drone Performance On Americas Got Talent

    Did anyone see the drone performance on AGT. It was a very impressive display and a some good publicity for the flying community.

    How did 5 guys fly that many drones? Were they programmed?

    Parrot is known for their fully autonomous displays at public events - they're actually incredibly impressive in-person. Here's the one they did at CES:

    Parrot benefits from being able to completely control the environment down to the colors on the floor that can guide the drones' positioning.

    In AGT's case though, it seems much harder. In order to autonomously control the drones they would need some sort of position feedback. I guess the question becomes where those markers are.

    In any case, thanks for posting! It's awesome to see an example of drones being welcomed as beautiful and artistic in the mainstream.
