Was out flying over a lake chasing boats and I went around a rock cliff and lost radio contact. So I figured no problem in a few seconds I will see my Phantom flying back.....so a minute goes by and nothing....(so I am thinking oh crap it went swimming)...

So I run about 1/4 mile towards the rock cliff with my remote in brush (which is a lot harder than I thought)....and the happiest sound I hear....the remote saying "70% battery" :).

I had my last flight setting to hover not RTH like I thought.....so review those before flights.
    Great_Lakes and benp3s like this.

You will notice that most of the important settings are saved on RC / AC and thus even if you update your DJI Go app, these settings return back and get displayed on the app. However I don't take risk and check vital settings such as RTH regularly.
