Never thought of this but say I'm on a cliff face and hover at take off altitude at 1 metre, then send the quad out and down the cliff eg 100m what will my altitude read? I know the altitude is based on were I took off so no idea what It'll read or more to the point what would happen if I pressed RTH (set at 50 metres) but I was say 100 metres down?

Your quad will activate a wormhole and end up in China
If you go down 100 M your altitude will read (minus) -100 M if RTH kicks in and set at 50 meters it will go up 50 from where it took off so it will rise your minus 100 plus the 50 you have set for a total of 150 M +1
I had a feeling it'd read minus just wasn't sure! Cheers

Quicker than mailing it back for repairs. Perhaps DJI could open the Star gate from their side and send it back!?
