Up until yesterday I've been able to see the altitude in Lightroom in the Exif metadata.
But yesterday did 2 flights and the altitude field is blank.
Any idea why it was recording before but stopped now?
Is there a setting to check to record it or not?
Update to this, did several more flights a week later ( a few days ago and yesterday) and altitude shows up.
Wondering if I didn't have a good GPS lock on the flights with no data.
I also figured out in Lightroom when you select the "Maps" module it actually shows you exactly where a photo or group of photos selected are - if the GPS data is there.
On the ones with no data in the GPS field I was able to move the map to where I was shooting and add the GPS coordinates by right clicking on the map.
It then filled in an altitude- but the same one for that whole group, and at the highest point I may have been- 609'.
Which does lead me back to maybe I hadn't gotten a good GPS lock at the time - flashing Yellow in back rather than Green?
Thoughts??
