Alfa panels or dbs ????

Hi guys just wondering what people think is the better mod between the Alfa panels and the dbs, I have the Alfa panels and they are performing well past my expectations. I am thinking of getting the dbs but would like to know how other pilots would compare the two mods.

Thanks for linking my thread, Mr. Salty.

I no longer own my standard, but here are my thoughts on it. The 3 Alfa APA-M25 panels worked awesome, a little better than the DBS, in my opinion. But 3 of them are pretty dang big on the remote and take up LOTS of room. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad on an ARGtek mount. They will sell the mount separately if you call them. Anyways..... I just didn't like the size...... so I went back to the DBS. I have 2 of the APA-M25s on my Pro, but it's not so big in that configuration.

Then.... I decided to try something different. 2 of the smaller Alfas on the 2.4ghz and a cheap 5.8ghz 14dbi panel in the middle. For me, this was the ultimate set up. I broke the 2 mile barrier, on a very windy day. More details here:
