Ah sigh another Beginner

I have made a recent purchase of a DjI Phantom with fat shark predator v2 and a second gen go pro hero the system for the fat shark is on Velcro and plugs into the phantom and a plug from the fat shark goes to the GoPro the camera for the fat shark could that be replaced by the GoPro camera?
I have researched a little and I think I have found the compass on the leg on the other leg is something like a wire (can anyone help) also on the front is a plug for a couple of inputs
Some Velcro on the top and a possible light which says DJI
I have included some pictures to help to identify what I am trying to explain

And in that there's an illustration of your P1 showing that the wire coming down the leg is a control (receiving) antenna.
