After lift off my p4 keeps going up

After lift off my phantom 4 doesn't hover at one place , it keeps going up until I use the left control to bring it down and hold it in place .what could I be doing wrong ?? Help needed

May need to calibrate the controller, it's in the app settings, make sure you are in P mode and have a good satellite connection. You may also want to get the drone up a couple of metres at least to reduce the possibility of turbulence from the ground beneath the drone.

How high will it continue to go up? You may want to at least re-calibrate your joysticks.

are you using auto take off or manual take off?
