Hey all - long story short, P3P went in for warranty service for shell cracks and a hopeless, jerky gimbal after downgrading from 1.8 to 1.7.6 due to unexplainable, close-range signal loss. It also fried my almost-new battery. I got back an aircraft that was suspiciously clean and new-looking - sure enough, it had a different aircraft name. Which I truly don't mind - if they'd just fixed mine, it would have been "refurbished."
So.....the refurb they sent me is on 1.5.30+. My RC is still on 1.5.8 to work with 1.7.6, and it's telling me both that the battery needs to be updated as well as that there's some issue with the RC not being on the right version - window only popped up briefly and I couldn't read it exactly.
So is there any reason for me to upgrade to 1.7.6, or should I just fly it as is? Do I need to let the battery upgrade?
