After 1.08 update the Gimbal is dead

Hi Group. I just upgraded my h3-3d gimbal software to the latest version and now it doesn't work. I can power up the phantom but the gimbal does nothing. Any ideas?

When I am plugged in to the DJI assistant there is a message: "You must update Main Controller firmware to new version". However when I plug the controller into the computer with the USB then nothing happens. Any advice?

The "main controller" is inside the phantom not the remote TX

I did some more reading and I figured that out. I also upgraded the controller to 3.04. But gimbal is still a limp noodle.
