When I used to instruct at a flying school, the first things that we gave new students were 2 bags, 1 bag was full of LUCK and the other was an empty bag for EXPERIENCE. The whole idea of this was to instill in the student that the objective of the exercise was to fill the bag of EXPERIENCE BEFORE they EMPTIED the bag of LUCK.

The same applies to new phantom pilots.

Happy Flying

Browse the forum but try and be subjective.
Never, ever fly indoors.
Firmware upgrades are not there to trip you up.
Learn at your own pace, you don't need to fly 5 miles away to have fun the first time out.
Water is not strangely attracted to flying objects.
If in doubt (and not about to kill someone) release the sticks, have a cigarette or shot of whisky from your hip flask, then gently sort things out.

Remember it's supposed to be fun

When you make a complete gnats chuff out of your expensive birdie, post on here so we can have a giggle at your expence while pulling a concerned face and trying to help you out of a situation you were stupid enough to cause.
