adding Naza LED to vision +

Thanks, not for me then I guess. I am sharing the phatom w/ my father and he's not a fan of "tweaking" so no no lights for me.. are there no led strips (not a full light, just a strip) that are able to be mounted and provide their own power from small batteries?

I'm sure you could find something like that. And people have added light strips to Phantoms. But the self-contained thing is probably not ideal. You've got 57+wh sitting in the shell, why not get a 12v strip and use the internal power?

M.Ti, if you remove the led module from the shell, it will definitely fit above above the USB port, that's where it sits on the phantom 1. But it will be facing forwards, and unless you dons lot of nose-in flight, you'll probably not find it very useful there.

I shall use it mainly to see the home lock, and when I see the LED I know he is directed to me :D

OK this is it :D
The LED is very bright
I removed the stikkers and it fits with the Black Bird.
Now I use the USB on the LED, works fine.
When you use the USB the LED is solid green.

Nice, how did you fix it in place ?
And where did you take wire through the shell ?

Okay this is cool! I'm glad I was lurking when I'm supposed to be paying attention to this conference call lol
I need to get one of those. Where's a good place to order it?
Now I wish I could connect the GPS/Compass module to my P2V+

I would rather have on the back. Did you run it through the gimbal hole in the shell?

Yes I did, but then the battery don't fit :|
So I disconnect the original USB and wires and make the gimbal hole a little bigger (4,5mm) on the left side of the bird.
Then put the LED cable and LED in place (I connect it with dubbel sided tape 1mm thick) and put the original USB and wires back in place.
And now it is next to the USB cable and don't hit the battery.
On the back I think there is not enough place ;)
Now I know wat the front is
I did it so I can see the GPS lights on the ground.
Hard to see:

Believe me it's bright. Just look at any yt video with a dji 450 that's all they use. Even the phantom one has it.

I was thinking of cutting the led module cable and running through the compass hole in the leg, then resoldering it back together and mounting the led to my gimbal crash guard.
What do you guys think ? I'm not comfortable about desoldering and soldering to the module circut board.

I cut a small slot in the top shell for the cable to pass through went closed.
