Acronyms for noobs, Tx, Rx, Fpv

Ok so all the jargon can be quite daunting for beginers. Tx = transmitter Rx=receiver, FPV = first person view.
LOS is line of sight(Not site thats a location)
Just a few to start the conversation.
So beginners any questions on acronyms that are stumping you?
More experienced people can tell what tripped them up or like me ask what is AUW stand for? Any help appreciated:)
 
SUA = Small Unmanned Aircraft
SUSA = Small Unmanned Surveillance Aircaft
IOC = Intelligent Orrientation Control
RTH = Return To Home
FS = Failsafe

Great work Irish. Those first two ive never come across. DO you know what AUW is I assume its All Up Weight?
Normally for aircraft it would be airborne underslung weight

I suppose you have looked elsewhere too but for some reason you're still hanging out here.

NMR - I think it's Nautical Miles Radius

AGL = Above Ground Level
ASL = Above Sea Level. Also called called MSL for Mean Sea Level
AMSL = Above mean sea level, usually just called MSL
NMR - I think it's Nautical Miles Radius = Yep

Battery notations ?
C = Capacity. Charge rate of 1C for a 5,200 mAh pack is 5.2 amps
MaH or is it MAh or mAH = mAh = milliamp-hour = capacity of the pack.
VDC = voltage DC
 
BTU= Blue Tooth Unit
Cal= Calibration
Gyro= Gyroscope ( spinning movement ( like record ))
Accelerometer = ( straight movement ( up-down, left-right, forward-reverse ))
GHz = Giga-hertz
MHz = Mega-hertz
Lipo = Lithium-Ion
Nicad = Nickle Cadmium
Modulus = ( another term for ABSOLUTE VALUE ) ( mod value )

And finally
( IHTHS ) I Hope This Helps Someone! ( lol )
