I was surfing through Ebay and came across this version of the Phantom Vision. Note the camera.

Different kind = lower cost / less capable.
Less than 1/3rd the range.
Less than 1/2 the flying time.
720p vs 1080p.
No camera servo (no tilt).
No wifi repeater.
8' props vs the new design 9'.
No intelligent battery.
As with everything, some may consider these points and improvement or a worthwhile trade for less than half the cost. That is a personal choice and there is nothing wrong with either decision. Both are good products.

This is a later version if the original Phantom-1 series w/FPV video camera attached. It's not Phantom-2 nor Vision nor does it have a 1D gimbal. Note the max flight time (12mins) and the battery compartment.
