8mm/12mm Lens conversion

Came across these and I'm wondering if they will work for the FC-200

They are 3 megapixel lenses. Not sure exactly what that means but they may not be designed with tolerances needed to make full use of a 14 megapixel camera. Secondly, the sensor on the FC200 is 1/2.3 not 1/2.5 so these lenses may lead dark spots on perimeter. Lastly, the lens holder on the p2v is low profile and the threads may need to be extended further from sensor since these lenses are zoom lenses. By no means an expert in photography but this is how I currently understand things.

For $10, it's worth a try. X2 on all the previous cautions mentioned. Still cheaper than the $400 ripoff from Ragecams!
