8 Pin Data Cord

Had a very minor crash and broke the black ribbon 8 pin data connector cord.... Ordered the replacement cord pack here http://www.aerialtechnology.com/shop/ze ... e-package/

Thinking that I was getting the "8 pin" cord that was advertised... Took my whole phantom apart before realizing that the cord is actually only 6 pins!!!! :shock:

Now what??

Does anyone know where I can buy one of these cords??? OR is there a way to plug in the zenmuse using only 6??? Maybe 2 of the channels aren't exactly required???

Hi Mate,

I''ve been on the look out for spare parts since I bought my Gimbal. I too had a problem with the 8 pin connector but i managed to fix it, I thought I would have a look for one anyway. Interestingly mine is an 8 pin connector. Did yours come with the gimbal?

I suffered the same fate as you with a less than ideal landing. I got lucky in that the kit I ordered had an extra 8-pin cable...unlucky in that even after replacing it the Zenmuse gimbal was still not working. Now I have to send the WHOLE kit back to my vendor and wait for up to 4 weeks to get it back
