4km range with silly Rabit Ears!

We managed to go 4km over St Tropez today. We used those home made aluminium Rabit ears. Total cost of project: 1 dollars or less...

The screenshot below shows 3.5 km, we went further later on and I will post screenshot too.

One problem was height was way off, we launched from the top of a hill at least 100m up and added 50m to that.

Any clue why height measurements are so off?

If I understand your question... Altitude or height is based on take off elevation not sea level so if you did climb ~50m from take-off spot then 44.6m looks about perfect.
