Starting at 5AM today, Iowa Select Farms began giving away either 3,500 or 4,500 (I heard both numbers) 4½-lb. pork loins at the Iowa State Fairgrounds. Each package can make about 12 meals.

I was asked to take some aerial footage & stills of the event.

I've flown in below zero weather before and battery/flight time is shorten by a minute or two. The only other things to watch for is wind can be hard to compensate at altitude (no reference by trees etc) and frozen lakes can reflect RF signal.

I had taken a trip there last week to 'scout out' the location. Made notes of the trees, power lines, and a cell tower. I flew mostly by FPV anyway since I was well away from any obstacles.

Well, it already had a couple red lights...............

Battery performance was better than me. I couldn't stand there long enough to fully drain a battery, even if it did have less-than-ideal flight times. I took off, spent about 5 minutes in the air, then headed inside to warm up.
