400m range ??

    Hi

    I fly today testing the new system
    I get a range of 400 meters in altitude 60m
    I got 500m 100m height
    I think maybe the antennas arrangement improper PHANTOM

    1. Use the supplied paddle antennas instead of the plain wire ones, 2) arrange them as low on the arms as possible and NOT on arms that have any additional electronic devices on them. (i.e. keep antenna away from compass, DBUS, tracking device, etc) 3) place them as far away from each other as possible, usually front-left and back-right sort of thing.

    If your LB is working correctly and you are not within airport or other restricted range, you should easily get 2000-2500 meters with perfect control and high def video with no breakup....

    There have been several BAD Lightbridge units manufactured and if you simply cannot get the range after trying everything listed above, send it back for a new one. I had to do it once and others on these boards have as well..
