I see they have dropped their prices on the Solo. Looks like they realize they are priced out of the market. Who wants to spend $1700 when they can get the P3P for $999. I hope DJI drops the price on the P3A real quick so I have time to price match before it's too late.

It was only a matter of time, I considered the Solo and then saw the price. I'd love it for someone to really compete with dji but they are all pretty far off the mark right now.

Unfortunately the consumer UAV business at 3DR is in a death spiral. They now have limited phone service and are relying on emails The prices are dropping rapidly now. I doubt they will be selling Solo's a year from now. They are concentrating on commercial UAV's.

Agreed, they make plenty on each sale. Even at deep discounts they are still making a profit.
