So i had a gimble lock 3D printed from the designs online for the standard however as you can see the antenna wire is in the way. Anyone else noticed this on any that you buy. Is it a issue. Thanks

I had a similar problem with one I got from UAV Bits. It didn't cover the wires directly, but it was way too close for my comfort. Eventually it would have caught and ripped them out . . .
I have a Neweer gimbal lock now - it clamps on further away from the wires.

Yep clipped it on realise it was touching. Fortunately didnt push it in too far. Will not put it back on again. It is quite a rugged cable though as it's an antenna wire and can be replaced looking at the teardowns.

No issues with it. If you want to make the lock you have better, you could probably take a file or a dremel or just try cutting out the corner to allow for more room.
