Second of these I've produced now, off out scouting for more locations shortly, surprisingly easy to produce once you have the software & settings together, this one was online within about an hour of getting home yesterday.

Anyone else been doing similar? Love to see them.

And yes, I know the sky is a bit screwy, after rendering the 600mb TIFF I couldn't be bothered going back in to fix it :D

Going to do a post in the next week or so showing how it was done from start to finish.

There's a very brief description (and I do mean brief!) in the text on this page -> http://www.jamesfarley.co.uk/chester-ra ... l-reality/

    Hi James

I just recieved my Phantom vision 2+ yesterday. Planning to do 360x180 aerial panos just like you.
I am familiar to panos on the ground (See them at http://www.virtuelledanmark.dk), but want to upgrade to a higher level (funny - huh? )
I made a test this afternoon, but it didnt stitch quite well.

    My questions are.
    How many shots around?
How many rounds at which tilts
How do you calculate the overlap from the ground? (just looking at the screen?)
and lastly...Would it be nice with a compass bearing on my dji app? ;)

I am looking forward to hear your answer (or see your post).

    Best regards
    Jesper Frehr
