360-degree Aerial Photography

Have seen a lot of this kind of work from a program called Pano2VR.
Have no experience with it, but the results sure do look good.

This was done with Phantom 3 Standard.
I used Litchi to create panorama pics, it took 8 of them.
Hugin Panorama Creator (in Linux, free) did excellent job stiching them and adjusting.
Finally uploaded here so it can be viewed in 360 mode.

^^^ This website offers free upload and viewer, very nice of them.
Hope this helps.

I'd like to have as example above, first like an earth view and then zoom in to panorama view.

Litchi or manual for taking the pictures.
Then I use PanoramaStudio that generate the html files as well ready for deploying on the web-server.
All my panoramas can be viewed at Picmov Media

DronePan works great for capturing the images. We use it fairly often in business.

All that is required is that the picture has a 2:1 ratio of length/height. Skypixel will automatically convert it into this 3D virtual thing.
To achieve this with the litchi automatic panoramas you usually have to add some fake sky on top with photoshop content aware fill.
