3 axis GoodLuckBuy gimbal

Has anyone tried or given thought to this 3 axis gimbal from GoodLuckBuy?

I thinking of this version of the gimbal because of the firmware upgradable BGC 3 axis controller which adds over $75 to the price over their normal controller. I'm thinking of removing the gopro mount from this gimbal and attaching my Taco v3 mount.

this is made of the same crap materials and same crap design as their 2 axis gimbal. stay away.

+1

I've read enough threads about people having troubles configuring their 2-axis good luck gimbals, last thing we need is another thread titled "3-axis good luck gimbal help!"

Only those with keen skills at gimbals and adjusting PID's and such should attempt to use these gimbals

Well I'll probably regret this, but I pulled the trigger and ordered one of these. I'll probably steal parts from my Taco gimbal to see if I can make this work. I'm guessing that I'll need some of the cables from the Taco as well as the camera mount. It is supposed to be here in about a week. Maybe with a little work I can have an inexpensive 3 axis gimbal option.

I've been following that thread. It seems like someone finally got a decent setup by eliminating the flat plate that the camera mounts to and I'm planning to eliminate that right off the bat by using the V3 mount from Taco. It's at least worth a try since there are no other 3 axis gimbals for the Vision camera. I know RotoPixel is working on one but stated that they will be catching up on all of the current orders first. Unless this works like a champ I'm still planning to get a RP when they get the 3 axis version.
