I'd fly that long too if I was carrying a 15,000 mAh 6S lipo. Good to know this bird can carry that brink. LOL!!!!

Would you have 'LINKS' to the T-Motors, the Aluminum Extenders, the 12" Props and especially that 2 Ton - 15,000mah 6S Battery?

Wouldn't you also need special ESC's to handle this modified f550?

Would you happen to have and pics or video of your f550 in action?

I don't have a F550, I just quoted someone on rcgroups posting this in the 450/550 thread there.

But, as far as I understand its basicly a F550 with s800 motors / esc's. (and the longer arms)

Oh, the arms are AIMDROIX Aluminum Arm for DJI Multirotors.

A google search will do the trick,

I realized that after I posted it, but I thought you might have more info on it...

I think I saw that guys f550 upgrade to an 800 on RCGroups... I remember reading about a black one someone was modding...

My TBS Discovery is getting a huge upgrade soon, just ordered a new arm kit that will allow me to run T-motor's 3520 400KV and 14" props

And I just got mine hovering nicely today too! Oh well guess my new/old arms and motors will go on my other TBS build.....
