Am considering a gimbal for my Ph2, but don't quite understand the principles. Is the levelling signal taken from the Phantom's inertial unit, or does the Zenmuse employ it's own on-board accelerometer/gyros to assess an artificial horizon. If so - couldn't a gimbal derive the signals from the Phantom board? Is this the case for other 3rd party gimbals.
