Looks like you've got something stuck in your teeth in that shot...

Yeah, and sorry about the stay-at-home-dad lazy beard as well. Still it was nice to have a bit of history all to myself. :)

It is a beautiful shot, and I would have loved to be flying out there on a day like that. Is the site a public park, or....?

Interesting. In the US, that's where we'd put a subdivision of expensive homes with walkout basements. :- p

Ha! We have a lot of ancient history round here being on the Thames and close to the ancient downland trail called The Ridgeway. My town got it's Royal Charter in 1155 but there's been a fortified settlement of some sort here since at least the 9th century as it was an important crossing point over the Thames. Sadly our castle was destroyed as we backed the wrong side in the Civil War, but I flew over its old grounds on that first Rotorpixel video I posted.

    Sorry for the history lesson!

    We've got a department store that's been there since 1856... ;)

It's not all Olde Worlde of course, but there is a lot of (currently) unspoilt countryside around and about. Heck there's a McDonald's drive thru only 3 miles away. (pfft)
