Hi experts on all things battery ....
I have a small 2.4 Ghz baby monitor camera from which I removed the 3.7V battery ( weight ) and wired directly to cell 1 of my
FC40 flight battery via the balance plug - I know its only a very small draw so I don't think it will damage the battery ..
Am I right to do this or will it damage the battery eventually ??
Cheers
Steve

If you are using this as a dedicated battery to run the monitor while flying with a second battery I wouldnt do it unless your willing to sacrifice it. Essentially your running one cell out of balance. If you are loading the entire battery at the same time its not a problem. For instance running some led lights off the balance plug while flying at the same time.

Thanks Guys - Its such a small draw I figure it should be OK ...
