2.4 rc amplifier question

2.4 is used for video correct? (5.8 control, where a booster makes sense.) So what good does one or two boosters do for 2.4 if you are using them only for a reception boost at the controller? Isn't there a receiver booster that would do a better job? Am I missing something?

You can boost the the output but unless your received signal is also boosted..kinda a moot point... there are "reflectors" that should help on the receiving end and if you do a search on here you will find tons of info on that. Myself, if I know I will be going outside of "radio range" I use Litchi which programs the flight into the drone. If signal is lost, it will carry on the mission as you programmed. Key thing using Litchi is to ensure you programmed things properly. Again, there is tons of info available on here..
