My 2.4 sunhans just fried itself after 8 runs so it looks like I need an attenuator for the new one. Anyone know where to buy the attenuators and specifically which ones to buy? Also does the 5.8 side need one?

Thanks

I have the 5.8 GHz Sunhans amp (Model #SH58Gi1000) and it can accept up to 100mW input --- the stock Phantom 5.8 radio maxes out at 100mW in FCC mode so no attenuator needed.

I dont have the 2.4 GHz Sunhans amp so I can't accurately comment on that one.

If a booster fries itself then there is only one conclusion.
Your antenna sucks, whats the SWR or VSWR value of it ?
If you don't know what that is or can't measure it buy a SWR meter, they are cheap these days, i bought one for 88$ a month ago and is called redot.
Look on youtube and learn it so you know why the amp fried itself.
