1800M with Phantom 3 Standard!!! (Windsurfer CE)

Hello,

I did a range test of my phantom 3 standard.

I flew out until the drone lost signal and came home, once without a windsurfer and the second run with one.

Here are my flight logs.

The windsurfer really does work. I've taken my P3S out to 6100 feet over a field at around 200 ft elevation. Without it I was getting around a third of that distance.

I'm in the UK so my controller is set to CE which is less powerful than what you get in USA

Yeah CE mode sucks, CE is 500m max (Supposedly) and FCC which is US is 1000m max. So if im able to get around 1000m in CE mode that means that you can get even further with FCC mode without windsurfer

Yeah it really does work!! don't see why DJI don't supply the phantom 3 with one as they don't cost much to make

My Windsurfer build is from here - DIY Antenna Booster for Phantom 3

Im a Video Production Student and I shoot in 1080p 30 because its easier to work with in post as I will have multiple cameras footage all at 1080p and no need to rescale or upscale therefore keeping constant quality throughout
