Re: Use anti vibration mount for other camera

You could buy a spare Vision camera bracket and mod it with a gopro adapter and use that. There probably won't be anything ready made as removing the Vision camera also removes the FPV and telemetry, etc, so wouldn't be a popular mod I would have thought.

Yep that would be a good start. When can I find a spare bracket. Can't seem to find one. Might be using the wrong search terms.

Be like Old Skool P1 flying', man, like back in the day! Seat of our pants man, just a few blinking LEDs and a kitchen timer to tell us what's going on. Gnarly days, man...

Will only lose telemetry. Will be using Sony app with range extender for FPV.

Will have to go old school with LEDs.

Get a small countdown/countup timer to stick to your tx. Set it for 3 minutes (or whatever margin you're comfortable with) less than your usual average flight time down to whatever battery % you prefer. When it beeps at you, time to bring the aircraft in, or at least close enough that you can see that battery indicator LED on the back to verify.
