This is my first time posting but I thought this would be worth it.
I follow the Gopro reddit and this just flashed up:

I always worry about scams but had heard that Gopro does these for actual camera shows when they set up vendor booths. So I decided to try it.
So I used my throw-away Gmail email and had my kid punch in the "text gopro" and it sent me a code to use ON THE ACTUAL Gopro home website.
Processed my info and BAM... brand new Gopro4 Black for $399 and state tax.
Seems it didn't work outside of the USA as some poor souls said it wasn't working in Australia and Canada but I don't know if they did it correct or not.
