Just sitting in the garden eating some pizza and I see a Phantom rise above a house across the road about 4 doors down. Could not see what version it was and it only went up and down a few times over about 2 minutes (must be a new owner just testing). Think battery was also low as the rear...
Re: Ordered my Phantom 2!! Excited but nervous at the same t
Have you tried resetting the transmitter?
If you open it up there is a small button on the transmitter PCB. Hold that in and power on the transmitter to reset it and then try the firmware update again.
I am in the UK and got mine from First Person View:-

Yes I believe it does have the same frequencies on band F:-
Frequencies on band F (Airwave): 5740MHz, 5760MHz, 5780MHz, 5800MHz, 5820MHz, 5840MHz, 5860MHz
Gotcha. Probably best not to state as fact information like this unless you are sure it is applicable to a P2 as well. Too much confusion as it is without more confusion based on P1 behaviour in a P2 forum :?

Not true. The 32 channel also comes in SMA (I have one). The 32 channel BP works well with the IRC 600mw. It mainly comes down to the antennas you have fitted.
That's strange. The gains you have now are what mine was set too when shipped, but I know they tweaked the gains for 3.02 and above and pressing the default gain button changes them to the new value. My phantom was very stable on the old gains but the new ones are better IMO.
Even after you press the default button in the assistant?
Mine is much more stable with the new default gains of:-
Basic 125/125/120/140
Atitude 260/260
What version of firmware you running?
Below 3.02 the P2 default gains were:-
Basic 120/120/120/200
Atitude 220/220
Version 3.02 and above they are:-
Basic 125/125/120/140
Atitude 260/260
