It may not be on properly try turning it 180 degrees , I had taken mine off and when I put it back on I was having the same problem, turned it 180 degrees and problem solved.
I'm also getting compass errors with the polar pro lights , I think it may be due to them moving down the legs of the landing gear. I secured them in place with some velcro and i did not get the compass error.hopefully this is the fix because the lights look really good.
I would keep the Syma to learn how to fly without gps in case you get into some trouble and have to manually fly the Phantom. True the Phantom is easier to fly but that sometimes can be misleading..
One is the original phone mount and the other is a tablet mount for a iPad mini or small 7.9 tablet got it on wish.com for 11 dollars.
