What version of PP do you have? I had to switch over from Sony Vegas pro 13 because it wouldn't read h.265. I currently pay monthly for the new PP 17 and have no problems.
No it shouldn't hurt anything flying under 2 miles. Antenna boosters change the antenna pattern. Once you put boosters on, it goes from being an circular pattern, 360 degrees, to a directional pattern, by narrowing the degree of which you can fly.

Those are very precise measurements. I don't know if you will be able to get so precise under a half a meter variance. You can go to a specific location on the map, with position lock, but don't know how you would get it so exact like you want. Others might have a better answer.

I have to make proxies with my 4k 60fps but after I do that I can edit and render no problem. The h.265 files makes my pc struggle as well. I don't mess with it.
Actually I am wrong. It didn't read your post correctly. On mine you can toggle as well, and it doesn't show both. Why not just put it on gps and use the gps for the compass as well? I think you can adjust the gps view for a locked view or not.
Just talked to amazon. They are letting me return mine and I am buying a new one at the $120 cost. Thank you so much for letting me know, otherwise I wouldn't have saved $80.
