I checked another drone with firmware 1.3.050. Iwinfo also gives: "txpower 17 dBm" in CE mode.
So DJI did not reduce the WIFI power in the software 1.4.060, 1.5.070 and 1.6.080. The change must be for something else.

If someone uses Litchi instead DJI GO in US area the 17 dBm setting is still present and no change to 27 dBm. It's stupid ...
I think if DJI specs tells that in CE mode power limit is 20 dBm and txpower is default set to 17 dBm (from iwinfo) so in FCC mode we should set txpower limit 2400 (3 dBm less).
Ok I tested FCC mod!
I went to my test area out of town. First I launched DJI GO and when GPS recorded home position the whole system back to CE mode.
I flew. About 400 m alert "weak image transmission signal" so i decided go back.
After landing i launched telnet on my phone (without closing DJI...
I made all changes again and i still have a problem :(
I made changes exactly from Ojcze Nasz video (changed GB to OK in line 32 and add two lines in the end of rcS files, drone and remote). All went ok.
Next after reboot i checked via telnet (command iwinfo) i have 27 dBm (good, FCC). But after...
Confirm. I also changed to FCC (check: 27 dBm via telnet, drone and remote) but after received GPS signal and recorded home point (Poland) it again back to 17dBm (CE) :(
