btw you didn't need to remove the ribbon cables from the connections to do the repair. Probably where this went north for you. I hope someone posts a step by step video on You Tube showing the process
It's a tedious and nerve racking process. Sorry to hear you broke it. I was worried every step on mine. You may want to consider buying a new camera after you price out what the repair bill will be. The whole camera goes for $250.00 on eBay brand new.... Good Luck
First DJI would have to Admit/Realize that this could be the issue. and we will never know that. It's not like you can call them and say "Hey throw and extra thermal pad on there for me" The guy that started this thread is offering to do it for 25 bucks. I'd take him up on that if your worried...
After looking on you tube. It looks like the cover just lifts straight up and back. Mine felt like something was holding it back from completely releasing. Like tape or something of that sort.
Ok, so i began disassembly of the gimbal tonight to do this repair. I got stuck trying to remove the lower half of the gimbal plate "Camera Side" Is the ribbon cable glued to the arm? Got a bit freaked out and reassembled and still works. Thankfully. Any Advice? Am i doing something wrong...
Just started having this exact same issue with my P3A. Came out of nowhere. I blamed it on the App or a Firmware update. Some-days it's fine. Some-days it's horrible. Sometimes it varies during flight. Been scouring the internet for a fix. Thinking this will solve my problem...
So over the last week or 3 or 4 flights the display on my Ipad 2 mini has developed a 10 sec lag on the real time display. I was on 1.08 and upgraded to 1.09. latest version on the DJI Go app even tried Litachi. Nothing solves it. 5 feet away 50 feet away. 32 channel hack Nothing...
What your doing is exactly what I do. Usually after the battery cools I charge it until the third LED starts to blink. Then unhook it. And store it until I'm ready to fly again
I think we're all confused here. Furthering the point these are complex machines and not toys. Very few people take the time to read the message boards. Keep up with the issues and then cry foul when something bad happens. Not saying that is the case with the OP. But spending some time...
I'm not sure mike is fully understanding the seriousness of flying on a partially charged battery. And the absolute disaster that can happen flying on a partially charged battery that has been sitting for even a few weeks. Just don't do it. Doesn't matter if it's been fine before. It's a...
