The booster amp that you have , I think that is around 6 dB gain, then as a matter of fact, theoritically it should just double the range dintance. Do you remember the range difference between with /without 5.8Ghz booster amp.
The SSUNHAN booster is more expensive, I think it is around Transmit gain: 15 - 18dB, ,now wondering.
