i had the same problem, the cure was to update the camera software, but now I have no range. I get a connection broke at 30 feet. As far as dji goes , Don't hold your breath. They use us as Ginny Pigs to solve all the bugs.

I have always had a problem with the vision app being uncompatible with my nexus 7 2012. I have always had to down load from a different source,other than the play store. so it does not update. Like I said, Thanks Droneslinger....... :D
If the wind is 15 mph on the ground it is much faster higher up! At 400 feet it could be much higher, 60 + mph. the Phantom can not keep up and will be lost to the wind. This is called Operator Error not Phantom Flyaway.
