Several screenshots show a green mid square with adjacent text "AF" so there should be an AF-mode. The mystery is why it's not default, given that several early tests showed crappy imagery.
Yes indeed and a guess is that is what is refered to as metering mode, measuring (and showing) distance to obstacles. They separated them to avoid cluttering the display.
Thanks but I dont agree. I'd like to color grade, WB-balance and so forth quite equal with as little effort as possible. To bring in another camera would deteriorate the end result. Add to that the apparent DOF possibility the Mavic cam comes with - adding another dif to what smartphones can do.
Any chance for this - any evidence out there?
I am doing things like car shows and it would be a great asset to have that kind of shots to complement aerial.
Just as GoPro have realized with the Karma with detachable gimbal. I wouldnt mind it would be bulkier, I'd just love the possibility.
My current belief is that C1 invokes center AF mode as indicated on this image, with the green square and text "AF" (at yellow arrow). Second image is another screen shot showing what could be metering mode (shown in yellow oval). Being Swedish I am not familiar with Dutch but both screenshots...
It does not look like those buttons exist on the Mavic remote(?). One button is left of the screen, and one is right which - I believe - a 5-directional joystick. From where is that screenshot? thanks//wfrank
