I wanted to compile a list to get an idea of numbers of broken ribbon cables but the moderator of this forum wouldn't let me.
If you own a Phantom Vision 2 Plus and have broken the camera/gimbal ribbon cable would you please post here? I'd like to get an idea how many people have done this.

There's no way I'm paying $50 to have something sent to me from the USA that can't cost any more than a few dollars to send. Nevermind the price of the thing in the first place.
The official UK dealer refuses to acknowledge that...

DJI has now stopped responding to my enquiries. The last thing they said was that they instructed their rep to send a ribbon to my dealer, but nothing has been received thus far. Now when I email to ask when the rep might actually do...
I presume you haven't received one yet?
My only reluctance in sending you mine is that I'd like the memory of pulling it apart fairly fresh to make fitting a replacement (which I still hope to get from DJI) a bit easier.

The latest I have from the local rep is:
This does not tally with what we have found on the tech bench.
It simply isn't possible to repair that ribbon cable - even with a new one.

RC Geeks near Gatwick, England. But I suspect it would be through Heliguys because they are the local DJI reps.
