I appreciate that. And that is exactly what I, at least, didn't understand at first. It started to dawn on me after hearing a common theme with those complaining -- they were either new devices or new installs that hadn't been logged into yet. Everything is fine now.

That's very true. It's just frustrating for me because I just bought mine. But, it looks like I can get camera feed with my phone. I installed the software 2 days ago in anticipation of my P2V+ coming. I logged in then, while everything was still working and it still works. So, I'm guessing that...
So, if you've never logged in with a new device or app install you can't do it until the servers are up? Because some people and some devices are able to be used. That might make sense. I notice that my S4 (which was already logged in once) doesn't ask for the login info. But it opens the app...
Not sure if it's on their side or not. I have no problem logging in on my S4 running 4.4.2. This is the same OS as my Nexus 7, but it only gets the "Request Timeout" every time.
I have the 2013 Nexus 7 with 4.4.2 OS. I have downloaded and installed the software with no problems. But it will not let me log in. I get a "Request Timeout" error every time. I have no problem logging in and running the software from my Galaxy 4S. Any ideas?
