DJI replaced my Phantom after some issues, but they had it a couple months. Before that I shipped it to the place I bought it from as and it sat there for over a month. I haven't had my Phantom all summer (since like July) which sux but I'm happy to finally get it back!.

I never let my Phantom land, I always catch it in the air, wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy safer on those propellers, never again will you have to worry about it tipping over.

Eh, I wouldn't be flying over crowds of people with a toy Quadcopter, it's being said time and time again to not do it. If it for some reason lost control and fell outta the sky and hit a bunch of people there'd be some huge issues.

Re: Made some landing skids from pipe lagging good idea or n Hand catching is definitely the way to go. Mine used to tip over many times because there's no flat enough surface for me and I damaged many props. I always hand catch now :) and have never had a problem again.

People are absolutely ridiculous, you should have to take a common sense test in order to drive a car or fly a drone, if you don't pass it then you can't buy it/drive it. lol. Thanks for ruining it for all of us by dropping your "drone" into a national park.

Wow, I was told not to go over 400ft high in the USA. How are you all going so high without getting into trouble? If an aircraft hit your quadcopter, you would be in a tonnnn of trouble, guaranteed getting arrested. You are going to ruin it for all of us.

Always make sure those GPS lights blink quickly before taking off, I usually bring it up then turn the controller off to make sure it starts to come home :) Also if you don't wanna break props, when landing I usually just grab it when it's hovering, if you try to land it, it might tip over and...
