I finally received my refund minus $4 for shipping. Out of pocket on the return shipping too. Lesson learned. Don't buy cheap or products from china. I learned the latter with buying the phantom in the first place with DJI's piss poor customer service.
Just want to tell people with my experience with the 3Dpower Taco gimbal:
I purchased the gimbal, it worked terrible, even after 15 hours of adjustments. I decided to return it. I paid for expedite shipping back to HK so I could get my refund more quickly. I e-mailed Taco-RC about my return...
That's it, I have had it. I'm done with this nonsense. I spent another hour this morning fiddling with it and it still has the same problem.
I'm sending it back and ordering a Rotorpixel. A $100 extra is definitely worth my time.
The joke is on me, however. I originally ordered the Taco...
This has happened previously in this thread too. Someone actually received their gimbal with the USB socket detached. I would direct Taco to this thread if necessary.
I believe the person who this happened to posted on an earlier page -- somewhere from p.5-20 I think . I went through this...
Patter,
I'm terribly sorry this has happen to you, especially as you were going out of your way to help me.
These Chinese companies still leave a lot to be desired customer service wise. DJI itself is pretty awful too. They come up with cool products at great prices...but that's it.
I'm...
My parameters are
ROLL
P: 10, I: 0.1, D:16
PITCH
P:10, I: 0.08, D: 17
ROLL POWER: 120
PITCH POWER: 100
I'm also not running any filters on the camera. Everything Camera wises is bone stock.
I have just about had it with this gimbal! I've been fiddling with it now for the better part of 14 hours. I am now running Slackers gimbal profile. The **** thing works beautifully for a few minutes until I get any sort of altitude. As soon as I'm about 200 feet or more in the air the gimbal...
Maybe someone can help me because I am at wit's end.
I installed the gimbal today and immediately took it out with only doing the adjustments in the DJI Assistant software. The gimbal would point the camera up and down...not really behave even after using my phone to aim the camera.
I then...
Re: STICKY: Phantom Vision v3.0 Update 4/06: No-Fly Zones Ad
Thanks very much for the information. I found the thread (think it's actually a sticky now) and everything you wrote makes perfect sense.
I have to say, if it wasn't for you and others with this detailed knowledge a lot of us...
Re: STICKY: Phantom Vision v3.0 Update 4/06: No-Fly Zones Ad
Thanks for the information. The reason I ask is because I had a small fly-away two days ago and thankfully the copter just flew 150 ft into someone's backyard and crashed. I broke a few small pieces and called DJI's (lack of)...
Re: STICKY: Phantom Vision v3.0 Update 4/06: No-Fly Zones Ad
Just a quick question of fail safe recovery. I know it was discussed earlier in this thread, but I just want to clarify.
I'm flying now in NAZA mode. If I go into fail safe RTH and want to recover from it I can switch the S1 switch...
It's neat seeing the new Vision, but I am happy with mine.
I flew 4200 ft away yesterday using wifi extenders. I just ordered a Taco gimbal. I'm content.
