Does this guy knows what he's talking about?
Found this interesting info on connecting an QX100 to a drone: http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/exp ... ifi-camera
...and Sony is adding new features to its API, hopefully this will open up some possibilities to extend the wifi range. See...
Does that exists? And will it fit on the QX10? Curious to see how it looks like. ..
In order to limit / avoid wifi interference, have you tried to use another wifi channel on the QX10 camera? I notice that my P2V's wifi extender is using channel 1. If you would be able to set the wifi channel...

This looks really great! I'm also looking to attach a camera to my P2V. I would like to use the vision's camera for FPV and to tilt (somehow) the attached camera. The QX10/100 looks like a great fit in terms of size and weight.
Do I get it right? Are you using both WIFI (vision's and qx10's)...
Peter, Klaus,
Thx for the feedback. I guess it all depends on personal preferences and what you're expecting from it.
The nex5/6/7 is a popular camera. Most companies over here use it for their areal shooting, however as Peter pointed out you can't use it with the Phantom. Including the lens...
Hi Peter
The rx100 kit looks indeed like a good and affordable option but I still have some questions/doubts. For instance, I don't see any anti-vibration mechanisme. Will the rx100's optical stabilisation compensate possible jello? Wat about the range of the FPV and remote shutter? How long...
I would be willing to spend some more money for a phantom alike drone with a better camera, and I expect/hope that something will hit the market soon. Spending 10k for an S800 equipped DSLR drone is way too expensive for most people, and as you said, you don't need a DSLR. Put together a next...
I have the impression that it becomes less sharp towards the left side of the picture. look at the lower left corner, the short cutted hedgerow shows less structure than in the center. The same for the gray tiles, you don't see the row/column lines anymore.
Of course, lightning plays a role...
Here are some other shots showing blurry on the left side. took also some pictures as suggested.

From what I've seen on the web I think it can be much better. Will see what DJI has to say. I just hope it won't be worser after I get a camera...
I see. So the wide lens compensates technology like auto focussing and stabilisation that is otherwise needed for normal lenses.
Thanks for sharing this info.
I'm new to this forum and have been reading some interesting posts on correcting fisheye distortion from footage. Seems like a lot of people are spending time in applying post-corrections using all kind of tools in order to get their footage right.
I'm doing it as well as I'm not very satisfied...
