I try to over expose just a hair during sunset. And under expose or 0 out during sunrise.
Settings are always manual. Shutter at twice fps. Using nd filters to achieve the correct EV.
I try to never fly in auto.
Always set iso to 100 and shutter speed twice your recording FPS. then use your exposure meter and add ND until it get close to 0. +.3 or so is fine. But the 2x shutter speed is ideal to mimic our natural motion blur.
so do you have to be at a certain alt for the intelligent flight option button to show? i went out front for a test run after updating firmware and i couldnt find the follow me button. i was hovering around 20 feet though....
Just tie some long delay fuse as your rope. Put a floaty on the gopro. And when the fuse burns through the gopro adapter. Let it plunge from 400 feet and float back up lol.
The best shots come from manual settings where one would play with iso and shutter speed and take multiple shots to play with in post processing. Auto does a pretty decent job but learning your manual settings will yield better results.
Also for bright sunny days, look into some filters.
It's got to be firmware or app related. When I first got the phantom and using my galaxy tab. Not a single problem. Smooth video feed. No crashes. Perfect.
