I just did this yesterday with the DJI Phantom 4 completely stock using just the Skyreat wind surfers. I'm aware that this isn't a record but it shows that under the right conditions a stock P4 does pretty well!

I purchased my P4 new not refurbished for $800 through Newegg. This came directly from DJI. I guess they had an overstock and Newegg is there outlet store. It's still in the box. I also purchased my first P4 directly from the DJI store for $950.00.

Thank you. I like to shoot video around the mountains. Sometimes the winds can change dramatically. It can make for some heart stopping moments when the drone is getting blown away and I am struggling to get it back. But if you ride the wind you get some super high speeds.

Well, I'm not a P4P owner yet. I was saving my money. But when I saw the P4 on Newegg.com for just $799 "new" not refurbished I caved and sent in my P4P savings. So now I will have to wait for the P5 to come out so I can afford the P4P. I'm thinking buy the P4P when it hits $1,100

I'm thinking that they are using a different battery for the controller. Something that is physically smaller to help accommodate the boosters. If so, this would leave ample space to make the mods needed.

I'd like to know how they get that number as well. I don't have nearly as many hours on DJI drones as some folks do!
