Sorry I am late to the party. Yes I have a lightbridge setup on my P2 V+. After the first owner crashed it and destroyed the gimbal, I added a lightbridge with Zenmuse H4-3D and Love it!
Here is what I am trying to get at. By strapping the Hero 5 to the Zenmuse as is, the Hero is too front heavy and the gimbal will not be able to tilt the camera up. If we redesign the "cup" and move the camera back a little, the gimbal should be able to level the camera. There would be a lot of...
I think it would be possible to 3D print a replacement for the part that the GoPro actually sits in. I was also looking to see if there was a way to do this. I need to actually get my hands on hero 5 first. in theory, all we would need is to replace the "Cup" portion the hero backs into. I have...
Sorry for the delay with this. My road blocks really are that if I flash the 2 "dead" wifi modules, I do not have a way to verify them as I have sold off my cables (internal to connect to Phantom 2), and my WiFi extender that mounts to remote.
I need to find a way to power the board so i can...
Hi Okstuv,
powered on the module on your workbench with external 12VDC from a power supply, or powered on after returning into Phantom and powering on Phantom?
Thanks.
Hi okstuv,
There is a pic on page 14 by RmHome. His has the labels on it. I opened one of mine, and like yours, has no markings. On his, you will notice 3v3 and boot next to it. The boot is the bsel or boot select we need to short.
I will open the second one tomorrow.
Hi Rmhome,
Can you tell me if this needs to somehow be powered on during the flash process?
I know with my lightbridge ground unit, I needed to press power before I could actually flash it.
Thanks!
I need to follow up with the person who did this to clear a few things up.
No, you will need to open your phantom and remove the WiFi module. This repair is not for the wifi repeater on your remote. It is for the internal wifi module inside the phantom.
Once you remove the wifi module, you...
Glad you got it working! Do you still have the old module laying around? Don't get rid of it as I think there is still a chance it can be repaired. I would recommend you power your phantom up Avery couple of weeks just to play it safe.
No, because since the firmware is corrupted, the WiFi module no longer shows up as a device. Flashing the firmware back, allows it to be seen as a separate device.
I know the light bridge ground station for example is supposed to show up as 3 devices. When firmware corrupts, you only see one...
From reading other posts it sounds like there are 2 issues causing this. One is that the NAND memory corrupts after not powering phantom, and or light bridge after months time.
The other issue seems to be from the Go app. I switched to light Bridge so did not experience this problem. It sounds...
